Transcriptional Unit 1 in Synthetic Operon for Pterostilbene Production

This composite part is the first transcriptional unit (TU) of the 4-gene synthetic operon constructed for pterostilbene production from L-tyrosine as precursor. This part includes a strong promoter and RBS (BBa_K4388000), a Rhodotorula glutinis tyrosine ammonia-lyase mutant (BBa_K4388001), and a linker sequence that replaces the transcriptional terminator (BBa_K4388012). This composite part was assembled via JUMP type IIS assembly whereby the three abovementioned basic parts were ligated into the pJUMP29-1A vector.
